About the Author
Father Pranaitis (1861-1917) was a Lithuanian Catholic priest, Russian Master of Theology and Professor of the Hebrew Language at the Imperial Ecclesiastical Academy of the Roman Catholic Church in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He published The Talmud Unmasked as an anti-Semitic tract called Christianus in Talmude Iudaeorum in Latin in 1892 under the imprimatur of the Archbishop Metropolitan of Mogilev. This tract was subsequently translated into Polish (1892), French (1892), German (1894), Russian (1911), Lithuanian (1912), Italian (1939), English (1939) and Spanish. In 1912, Pranaitis was called to testify as an expert witness in Jewish hatred of Christians in the famous case of Menahem Mendel Beilis. During the course of that trial his credibility rapidly evaporated, however, when the defense demonstrated his ignorance of some simple Talmudic concepts and definitions, such as hullin, to the point where many in the audience occasionally laughed out loud when he clearly became confused and couldn't even intelligibly answer some of the questions asked by my lawyer. According to accounts of the trial, "cross-examination of Pranaitis has weakened evidentiary value of his expert opinion, exposing lack of knowledge of texts, insufficient knowledge of Jewish literature. Because of amateurish knowledge and lack of resourcefulness, Pranaitis' expert opinion is of very low value." The significance of The Talmud Unmasked is as an influential anti-Semitic tract written from a Catholic perspective.

This is an English language translation of a book first published in Latin in 1892. At that time, the book’s author, a Catholic Priest, had been warned that if he persisted in revealing the ‘original’ contents of the Talmud regarding Christians he would likely be killed. He did so in this book, and he was subsequently killed. Prior to the book’s publication, the Talmud was only available in Hebrew and, even then, only in cleansed, incomplete, and imperfect renderings. Father Pranaitis took, as his starting point, the last edition of the Talmud known to be complete: that published in Venice in 1520. When the contents of that book became generally known, Jews began fearing for their lives due to its explosive anti-Christian content. As a result, all subsequent versions of the Talmud were expunged of all material openly hostile to Christians. From that point on, the Talmud existed in two forms: 1) expurgated editions for general consumption, and 2) complete ‘oral’ renderings within the Jewish hierarchy.In ‘The Talmud Unmasked’ Father Pranaitis reveals what the Jews, at least the Jewish hierarchy, think about Jesus Christ, and about Christians and what they think should be done about them. The book is divided into two parts, each having two chapters, and each chapter having a number of articles. At a top level, the titles of these ‘parts’ and ‘chapters’ tell us everything we need to know about the book: Part I - Teaching of the Talmud Concerning Christians (Chapter I: Jesus Christ in the Talmud / Chapter II: Christians in the Talmud) // Part II – Precepts of the Talmud Concerning Christians (Chapter I: Christians are to be Avoided / Chapter II: Christians are to be Exterminated).There is also an introduction in the front of the book, which tells us something about the book’s author and quite a bit about some important historical figures, mostly in European royalty, and how they reacted to the Jews and to the Jewish Talmud. At the book’s end, there is also an Appendix which tells the book’s readers how some Catholic Popes reacted to the Jews and what some of their important ‘Decrees’ were. It is very revealing.As a side note: I might mention that I encountered this book in an effort to understand why the world, in general, and the United States, in particular, appear headed toward a one-world, socialist government controlled by the International Banking Cartel (i.e., ‘The New World Order’). All indications were that Cabalist Jewish bankers are one of the primary forces driving the world in that direction. That eventually led me to the Talmud and eventually to this book; which appears to expose an important piece of the puzzle. (Note particularly, Pope Innocent III’s Decree in 1215 regarding the Jews: second sentence of first paragraph on page 90.)

When a people are raised from birth to believe that they are superior to all others who exist only to serve and be used by them as only they are God’s people for whom the entire universe was created, you naturally get quite a bit of dangerous sociopathic and psychotic phenomena being continuously injected into the arena of human affairs. When this is further condoned by religious sanction and the strictest, most racist breeding laws currently in existence, a negative, ultra destructive factor emerges, empowered by a self serving, egocentric and primitive mythology devoid of morality or ethics in dealing with anyone outside the group, that is deleterious to the human race at large. Those who believe that the Jewish faith is basically based on the Old Testament will find they are greatly mistaken and will be shocked to discover a belief system honoring a tribal war God who more resembles a satanic deity, rather than the popular concept of a Supreme Being, and seems designed to empower competition, exclusivity, and domination over all others and all things on the planet. It is a way of thinking shared by most career criminals that allow them to contemptuously abuse their victims with complete moral impunity.
