Awesome add to the series. Love each of these guys so I was excited to see this short story about Wade who we met briefly awhile ago. Jackson is new to Ward Security and you get to discover everything about him here. This has action, cute moments and hot scenes that you've come to love from these authors. Their chemistry is instant and they know it's something special, something to explore. Just because this is shorter read than you're use to doesn't mean it's not a complete story or amazing. Past favorites like Rowe, Noah and Ian round out this read and leave you excited for the next. I can't wait!
This is a very short tale in the Ward Security series, of which I'm not the greatest fan, though I do really like the Unbreakable Bonds books (but yeah, the authors are kind of pushing it a little with the extra tales, that don't really add much to the full-length books). It can be read as a standalone, but tbh, it wasn't great.It is too short, too rushed and with the same MO that both series have, and yes, there are glimpses of some of the other UB leads, but it all feels a little forced. There's a lot of repetition and a lot of phrases that have been used in the other novels, that are repeated here and it's clear that this book hasn't seen the beta input or editing that the longer length tales have, both of which are really apparent.Thank goodness this was in KU as this really isn't worth the asking price. It's too rushed, too corny/tropey and without the believability factor of the UB series, and not as well written.
A quick and amazing read. I totally love this series and this definitely hits the spot. Jackson is the newest member of the Ward Security team and his first task is protecting Wade from his past, his brother, who wants to pick up where things left off. Jackson and Wade together are amazing. Their chemistry is instantaneous. I totally loved these two characters together. My only compliant is that it was too short. I wanted more, more, more! If you've been following this series, you don't want to miss this one.
I loved the playfulness between Rowe and Noah, as always...Yay we got to see Ian again.. I really love the original characters in the series and we need to see more of them. I like Jackson and Wade but because it was a short story we still don't know anything about them. Just the basics and Wade's past and his bad seed of a brother that tries to destroy his life. What's done is done, I guess..
I love the Ward men. Big, strong body guards falling for their charges... So sweet. This is definitely a case of insta-love.
Loved it. The perfect novella length to keep us hooked and waiting for more of Rowe and the gang. The books just keep getting better.
Ok, so this was a cute little novella starring Wade and introducing Jackson. I liked Wade when he shared in Ian's book so I'm glad he got a story of his own. Jackson was a good fit for him.
This was the perfect bite-sized read allowing us to learn more about the secondary characters in the Ward Security world. Jackson and Wade were adorable, sweet and sexy - I hope to see more of them in future books!
